Just like Florida’s “don’t say gay” phase, we are entering the “Don’t say covid” stage of the pandemic. Twitter et. al. are filtering posts containing the word, the white house has slashed all but the most minimal CDC covid project funding, newspapers and pundits are talking about “summer flus” “contagious illness” “mystery viruses” “influenza like illnesses” and most recently the “travel flu.” Most if not all cases of these “mysterious flu-like summer travel bugs” are most likely covid going untested and unchecked. Mask up and stop catching covid.
